G.J. Hopkins offers a full Apprenticeship Program for those interested in a career in trades, starting as early as 16 plus. Our program has continued to grow since it started in 1995. G.J. Hopkins is the second largest registered apprenticeship in all of Southwest Virginia, focusing on Electrical, Plumbing and Sheet Metal.

After starting with your base level of pay, completing necessary courses and on-the-job training hours you will be eligible for a pay increase each year. In order to meet our goals, we need trades men and women that are interested in learning about what we do and how we do it!
